The colorectal team at UCH London, under the direction of leading colorectal surgeon Mr Richard Cohen, has begun a Pilot Study of The Rafaelo Procedure with a view to offering the treatment routinely within the NHS. It is anticipated that their findings will be published by the end of 2016.
Today a Kent based hospital hosted the latest Rafaelo Procedure as its take-up spreads across the South East, under the expertise of Mr Joseph Ellul. The first Rafaelo Procedure to be carried out in Central London took place at BUPA Cromwell under the expert hand of Mr Amyn Haji, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon. The procedure was a complete success, the patient able to walk away immediately after the treatment and resume his daily activities, without any post operative pain.
